Why Contribute
A non-profit organization moving towards long-term self-sustainability, the Schmieding Center has been funded since 1999 by a limited grant through a donation by Lawrence H. Schmieding, and that grant period is coming to a close. In going forward, the future of the Schmieding Center depends heavily on the support of the community through grants and donations, as well as on proceeds generated by its new Schmieding C.A.R.E.S. (Community Aging Resources, Education and Support) program.
