Continuing Education

Continuing education is necessary for all health professionals so they can provide up-to-date healthcare and education to older adults. All continuing education programs are approved by the appropriate credentialing body of medicine, nursing, social work, etc.

NEW COURSE! Certificate Program in Geriatric Nursing Starting in January 2008

RNs/LPNs:
Have you noticed that many of your patients are now in the geriatric age group? The Schemiding Center is offering an opportunity for you to expand your knowledge about geriatric nursing and earn CE credit at the same time! The Schmieding Center is sponsoring a Certificate Program in Geriatric Nursing, a 30-contact-hour course, to begin in January. RNs who meet the criteria for ANCC certification may use this course as preparation for the examination in Gerontological Nursing.
