Family Support Services

Family support services provided by the Schmieding Center include consultation for families and individuals by phone or personal appointment to discuss home caregiving issues, learn about caregiving resources or plan a move to independent/assisted living or to a nursing home.

Assistance is also available to help family members who live out of town regarding resources to monitor and manage care of family members in Northwest Arkansas.

Counseling referrals are available to individuals, families and professional caregivers for issues related to aging and caregiving.

Support and education groups are available for the dementia caregiver and adult children caring for a parent. Check the calendar for upcoming dates.
